HOURS OF OPERATION

Weekdays during Spring and Fall: We will have one tour at 4 pm daily for our Lofthaven and other guests. All other tours are by special request.

CANOPY TOUR PRICING

Tour costs per person before sales tax are:

Individual Canopy Tour: $65.00
Individual Canopy Challenge: $ 85.00
Combined Tours: $130.00

Group Discounts: For groups of 20+ or corporate teambuilding rates please see Team Building Parties, or call 512 264-8880 for details and availability. Discounts are available to conservation, youth and scouting organizations. Call for details.

One Child Flies for Free: For individual and small group tours one child accompanied by one parent or grandparent flies free (Canopy Tour only), Tuesday and Thursday during the Summer and Fridays, Spring and Fall. This discount is not available for holidays

DEPOSITS

Individuals and Small Groups (7 persons or fewer)

For individuals and small groups there is a single tour non-refundable deposit to make a reservation. Deposits are $65.00 for the Canopy Tour, $85.00 for the Canopy Challenge, $130.00 for a Combined Event, and full payment for The Lofthaven. All deposits will be charged tax as well. Your deposit prepays one person. Any remaining fees, are payable the day of your tour by cash or credit card. All deposits are refunded if trip is cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions. A one-time date and/or time change can be made up to 14 days in advance of your scheduled tour or 30 days in advance of your overnight stay.

Large Groups (8 persons or more)

For groups of eight or more, if your reservation request is confirmed a non-refundable deposit will be charged to this account equivalent to one person’s tour price for each group of up to 7 participants. For a group of 8 to 20 you will be charged a non-refundable deposit which prepays for two people, a group of 21 to 27 for three, and so on. Should you group size decrease your non-refundable deposit may NOT be applied to the smaller group within 14 days of your tour. For groups of 20 or more final payment is expected 14 days in advance of your tour to receive the group rate. Tour size may increase by up to 10% without prior notification. Any decrease in size is non-refundable within 14 days. A confirmation letter will be emailed when your card is charged.

CANCELLATION POLICY

To ensure a quality experience, tours are offered by reservations only. When you book a tour, we schedule guides and other support staff to be available to make your tree top adventure as wonderful as possible. For this reason, we require 14 days notice for cancellations and rescheduling of tours and 30 days for overnight stays. If you fail to meet your appointment, we still incur all the same expenses and may have turned others away. Therefore, those guests who fail to show for a reservation or cancel without proper notice will be charged the full tour price. You may transfer your deposit one time and reschedule your tour to another day during the current season. The deposit is required to make a reservation and is non-refundable. If you arrive for your tour, and decide not to zip due to fear, we will give you a rain check. This rain check will be good for you only, for use one time during the current season. We encourage you to try again. If we cancel your tour due to weather or other unforeseeable condition, we will reschedule or refund your deposit.

LATE ARRIVALS

If you arrive late and we have to start your tour without you we will make every effort to put you on a later tour. If we have no other space to add you, you will still be responsible for the balance of your tour price. We ask you to arrive 20 minutes prior to your reserved tour time so we can start your tour on time.

BAD WEATHER POLICY

We will not run tours in storms, high winds, or thunder and lightening. Central Texas weather is as unpredictable as any place, so be assured, you will not be charged if Mother Nature tells us the tour is off. It is important to remember that foul weather in your area does not necessarily mean foul weather at Cypress Valley. Please call first if you have concerns about the weather. We will call only if we are certain your tour will not run. In some cases, tours may be postponed to allow for weather systems to pass. Many magical tours have occurred during or right after a summer storm has passed through. So as not to risk depriving you of the best tour of the week, we are likely to wait and see!

WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING

Guests should wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes. Please remove all jewelry and sunglasses prior to the tour. Jewelry, cell phones and personal possessions should be stored in your vehicle or left at home. Cypress Valley is not responsible for personal property lost, damaged, or stolen during the tour. If you will be swimming, bring a swimming suit and towel. Cameras with secure retaining straps are permitted on the tour. Cameras without retaining straps are not recommended. Food and drinks are allowed, but please, No Glass and No Alcohol.

TOUR RESTRICTIONS

Canopy Tour Restrictions: The tour is designed for participants of good to moderate health; approximate weight range from 70 to 250 pounds and able to climb stairs unassisted. Pregnant women, people with heart, leg, or back problems, or other serious illness are advised not to do the canopy tour. Children, ages 10 to 17, are welcome when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Exceptions to any restrictions are at the discretion of the management. Please call before booking.

Canopy Challenge Restrictions: In addition to Canopy Tour restrictions, participants must be in excellent physical health and conditioning. Children under 10 or anyone under 5 feet are recommended not to do the Canopy Challenge due to additional physical requirements.Participants are also required to complete the Canopy Tour before attempting the Canopy Challenge
