About The LoftHaven
The following information regarding the Lofthaven has been retained for historical purposes. The Lofthaven suffered significant damage during the wild fires which swept across the property in August 2011. At this time, plans have not been made to replace the structure. Instead the trees which served as anchors for the Lofthaven have been incorporated in to the canopy tour.
The Lofthaven offers Canopy Tour guests an opportunity to zip into their
evening quarters. You spend the night nestled in the trees with the sounds
and sights of the creek ravine at night. Many nights you will be close
to creatures such as raccoons and ring-tails. You are likely to hear the
local coyotes sing to the moon and often be serenaded by the resident
screech owls and great horned owls. (Whether they are talking to you or
each other is debatable.) And the small waterfall that trickles close
by helps you let go of your normal routine and enjoy your night’s
slumber. The morning will greet you with the sound of the early morning
birds and animals. It will be a stay to remember!
We have a variety of
options for staying in the Lofthaven. All stays require a Canopy Tour
or Canopy Challenge as you zip into tree house for the night.
The price for weekdays (Tue-Thur) is $300 for weekends (Fri-Sun) is $325 plus the cost of the tour you choose.
We recommend you bring a picnic dinner for your stay in the Lofthaven
to fully enjoy the evening. You will have access to your car which
will be parked near your private bath cottage across the bridge from the
tree house. The cost for each additional child (above the two adults)
is $25 each.
The Lofthaven has one queen size bed and is perfectly suited for two people.
We have an air mattress for parents who want to bring their children,
with a maximum occupancy of four.
