Looking for energetic students interested in ecology and adventure sports. Located just 30 miles west of downtown Austin, the first canopy eco-tour in the continental United States wants responsible, fun-loving guides to take guests through our zip-line course. This fast growing, exciting new business will train you to traverse yourself and guests through the trees in a beautiful cypress-lined creek ravine. Drug and alcohol-free lifestyle required for this family-oriented business. Hours include part-time/weekends Spring and Fall; full and part-time positions available during the summer. JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for:
- Safety orientation of guests
- Providing ecological information to guests during tour
- Guide guests safely through zip line tour
- Some trail and park enhancement and maintenance
Qualifications:
- Minimum age: 18
- Prefer 2 years college with a major in ecology or biology
- Family and kid friendly: experience with kids a plus
- Prefer some adventure sports &/or wilderness rescue experience
- Must be responsible, reliable, and able to take leadership role as the guide for a small group
- Must have flexible schedule
